You are unable to sell this product because the definition in the database does not permit it

You are attempting to sell a product that has been marked 'do not sell'. Most often this flag is used on products to indicate that it has been retired or is discontinued. Contact your product administrator and ask them to review this flag for this product.

This system does not require a Sync operation as it is online

The POS has attempted to perform a manaul sync operation, either by manual user operation or automated business logic. However, this lane is configured to use 'online mode' where the database is accessed over the network and that remote machine is responsible for all operations such as syncs.

If you need to sync for some business reason, locate the primary Pos system and issue a sync on that lane.

Performing a Sync operation within 10 minutes of starting the POS can be slow. Would you really like to do this now regardless?

You are attempting a manual sync operation within 10 minutes of starting the POS. This POS is configured for silent and automatic syncing and manual syncs are not required.

To aid support, the POS will use a full manual sync if you attempt this within 10 minutes of startup, so this question is confirming you want to do this. There is no problem doing a sync if you wish, but it may take longer than you expect due to the extra items that will be performed that are normally done in the background.

The current working directory does not support read/write access from this login. Please contact your system administrator to gain directory access privileges or try a dfferent Windows Login.

As part of startup, the POS has attempted to open and write a test file in the current working directory. This message indicates that writing to this file failed. The POS cannot continue without the ability to write transactions somewhere, so this is considered a fatal error.

The most common cause for this to suddenly start appearing is if Active Directory rights are 'messed'.
